Les bienfaits des dattes

Ingredients

  • 200 g Tayiba date paste
  • 100 g almonds
  • 50 g rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (or any other nut butter)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • For coating: cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. In a blender, blend the almonds until you obtain a coarse texture. Add the rolled oats and blend briefly again.

  2. Add the date paste, peanut butter, and cocoa powder. Blend until the mixture is smooth and forms a workable dough. If the mixture seems too dry, add a little water; if it is too moist, add more rolled oats.

  3. Take a small amount of dough and shape it into bite-sized balls using your hands.

  4. Roll the balls in the coating of your choice (cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or sesame seeds).

  5. Place the energy balls on a plate and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

To store the energy balls, place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. They can also be frozen; simply allow them to thaw at room temperature before consuming.
